A Dose Of Smile

  Valentine's day is in 2 days and the humans in a relationship are super excited and are most likely not going to take it easy on the singles. It's been a tough few days for the single folks; If you have a single friend, please, check on them and send them money.  Valentine's day is certainly not really a favourite day for singles because of the tension coming from all angles. It’s that one special day a year in which singles are painfully reminded that they may very well die alone - cruel! Unfortunately, in our romance and sex-saturated culture, every day reminds you of that. However, the church hasn’t offered much alternatives. There’s far too much “Jesus is my boyfriend” or “I’m dating Jesus” type of songs and teachings that trivializes the kind of intimacy that can exist between God and humanity thereby silencing the deeper pain of loneliness and disappointment that singles sometimes feel.
